My name is Abhilash Gopalakrishnan. I kind of enjoy connecting various aspects learnt over years with emerging trends to imagine and visualize a story that makes over lives better.
Have spent over two decades at intersections of research, technology and business. Played the role of Principal Engineer at ABB R&D building intelligent systems, in EdTech as Technology Lead at Learnovate Centre, Trinity College Dublin and Software architect at Part Analytics. At the moment focusing on building IndusKLabs. My efforts in emerging technologies resulted in 8 patents and over 20 publications.
Have completed Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita, and Masters in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. A Professional Certificate in Architecture and Systems Engineering from MIT , completed similar professional certification on Industry 4.0 from HkPolyU and a PG Certificate in Digital Manufacturing and Smart Factories from IISc. I am a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of ACM, INCOSE and TiE and Life Member of CSI. Currently pursuing my PhD in Computer Science at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
As a lifelong learner, love sharing and spreading knowledge, enabling makers and innovation, thus enriching lives.
Some of my core interests revolve around the areas of Technology Management, Product Design and Development, Human Centric Design and Software Engineering.
A thread connecting all these is the area of Knowledge Management.
